For the first time in 28 years, the erstwhile pony car will be offered with a white exterior and interior with the addition of the brand-new Ice White Appearance Package to the Ford Mustang and Ford Mustang Mach-E for the 2022 model year. The Ice White Appearance Package, however, was no longer offered on the Mach-E for the 2023 model year, making it a one-year-only option, even if the package was still offered on the Mustang for the same year. But, individuals with knowledge of the situation have told Ford Authority that it won't be transferring to the brand-new S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang.
Ice White Edition Appearance Package
Oxford White paint, iced-out taillamps, heritage-inspired Oxford White 19-inch wheels with machine-surfaced pockets, Oxford White pony badges, and Oxford White fender badging are all part of the 2022-2023 Mustang's Ice White Edition Appearance Package. This package is only available on EcoBoost and GT Premium fastback models. The special edition's interior includes leather door panels and seat inserts in Oxford White, an aluminum dash appliqué, and white accent stitching on the headrests, center console, and center console boot.
A new USB port situated on the mirror and more power are just a couple of the additional features the new pony car boasts over its predecessor. All of these additional amenities, meanwhile, will be pricey since, as Ford Authority has noted, the 2024 Mustang is more expensive overall than the current-generation S550.
Price
These price hikes range from $2,650 for the GT Premium to $3,650 for EcoBoost Premium models, depending on trim and setup. Thus, the EcoBoost Fastback, the least costly new pony car, costs $30,920, while the GT Fastback, the least expensive V8-powered vehicle, costs $41,495. The Dark Horse, on the other hand, is $1,400 more expensive than the current Mach 1 and costs $57,970, as Ford Authority first revealed last month.
