BMW is releasing the first limited edition of the new M4 Competition for 2021, which features certain design changes. BMW collaborated with Kith, a New York-based fashion label, to create a unique M4 Competition coupe. The M4 Competition x Kith is what it's called.
The new special edition of the M4 Competition was produced in conjunction with lifestyle brand Kith and features distinctive exterior and interior design aspects. It is limited to only 150 examples globally.
Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver, and Frozen Brilliant White are the three matte hues available for the limited edition performance coupe from BMW. Embossed leather Kith logos can be found on the black full Merino leather bucket seats, center armrest, and door panels once inside the interior. A carbon-fiber roof with the BMW M-inspired Kith emblem will be offered as an option.
- Color
The new M4 Competition by Kith has a pair of tri-color M Carbon bucket seats, which combine bright blue and red to the black Merino leather upholstery for a stunning finish. Kith writing is also embossed into the black leather of the front and rear headrests, and a special badge is located on the center console.
Kith creator Ronnie Fieg, who owns an E30 M3 that he altered with some of the same upgrades you see here, imagined the unique touches to the vehicle.
When compared to a conventional M4 Competition, nothing has changed under the hood; power comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 503 HP (510 PS) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. Like the normal M4, BMW will offer the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system as an option.
- Price
It will be released in 2021 as a 2022 model, with a starting price of $110,245 including destination. Given that the standard M4 Competition starts at $75,695, BMW is asking a significant premium for the Kith variant. That, we suppose, is the cost of fashion.
